About

Print artist Lisa King lives and works between her two homes Bangkok and London. Her unique creative vision is inspired by nature and influenced by her cross-cultural heritage. She takes an investigative approach to print using experimental processes to convey an emotional response. Bold and dynamic, her work draws inspiration from her background as a dancer with movement and fluidity its central tenets, as she plays with themes of dichotomy and deconstruction.

A graduate of Textiles from Central St. Martins, King’s coveted printed scarf collections have been sold in stores across the world since 2013 including Harvey Nichols and Fortnum & Mason, and her flower tees garner a strong following in Japan particularly, while commission clients include Nike, Kylie Minogue, and Prada. In recent years she has turned her hand to art directing, curating and collaborating on projects spanning film, music, retail, interiors, costume, performance and product.

Featured by Vogue Thailand, FT How to spend it, and Nowness.com, King also shares her alternative approach to print design through regular workshops where she demonstrates the unique methods of her signature style.
